When is the display / performance? 12 July at Ilkley pool & lido. 6pm FREE to attend.
What can I expect? Enjoy a procession of Bollywood dancing, then performance, followed by a display in the water.
After the display there will be ‘joining in’ sessions. You can learn some Bollywood dancing, and / or learn some synchro swimming in the lido
There will be vendors and you can just have a great swim
How can I take part ?
If you fancy being part of the swimming display then do come along to the open rehearsals. We will be learning a water based display of about 5 mins within the whole final display on the 12th July. There are 8 fun ‘rehearsal’ sessions you can join. These are in pool sessions of simple synchro and dance in the water
If I sign up do I have to take part?
The idea is you come along and you’d be in the final display on the 12th July. Unless you don’t fancy it after you’ve had a go. So there is no obligation!
You can also come to one or a few rehearsals you dont have to come to everything. The best thing is to come along to the first one and see.
What do I wear? The water is cold, so if you are not used to cold water swimming, you may wish to bring a rashi or other clothing to wear in the water to keep warm.
What are the times and day/ dates? Thursdays 7.30-8.30pm (19.30-20.30)
